Who would have thought that objective truth needed a defense on the floor of the U.S. Senate?
On January 17, 2018, Sen. Jeff Flake argued, “2017 was a year which saw the truth – objective, empirical, evidence-based truth – more battered and abused than any other in the history of our country.”

Although Sen. Flake’s speech received some media attention, it was soon lost in the storm (or should I say, the Stormy Daniels) that surrounds the current administration.
