According to research performed by The New York Times, Ferris State University graduates 5% more students than expected based on demographics. For a university of its size, this is an impressive achievement.
Although I cannot offer proof, I suspect this achievement is the result of two aspects of Ferris: 1) typically small class size, and 2) a dedicated and mostly long-term faculty.
